Mission

YOU HAVE CERTAIN RIGHTS WHEN YOUR CAR HAS BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT:

You have the right to go to the repair shop of your choice.

You do not have to use a repair shop suggested by the insurance company.

You are NOT required by law to obtain more than one estimate.

We negotiate with all insurance companies.

Some insurance companies may want you to visit their drive-in claim centers.  You may do so or you may leave your vehicle at the shop of your choice and ask the insurance company to inspect the car there.

Differences in repair estimates are common.  A lower estimate may not include all necessary work.  If you are not sure why one estimate is different from another, we will explain this to you.  No additional work will be started without your authorization.

If normal business hours do not fit your busy schedule, you can drop your vehicle off in our gated facility and drop your keys in our secure key box.  However, you must call ahead to arrange acess into the facility during our business hours (8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.) for an entry code. (Phone 908-757-1156)

If an insurance company writes a lower estimate than the shop you choose and offers to give you a check for their appraisal, you may accept their payment.  This does not finalize the claim, even if the check is marked "final payment."

If you feel you have not been offered a fair settlement of an insurance claim, you have the right for arbitration.  An independent appraiser may be called upon to resolve the insurance claim in question.

ESTIMATES AND SUPPLEMENTARY ESTIMATES:

An estimate is an approximation of the cost of repair for the visible damage to the vehicle.  However, as the car is dismantled and repair work proceeds, additional damage may be uncovered.  When this occurs, the estimate requires a supplement.

A Supplement is simply an additional bill to cover the cost of labor and/or parts for the newly discovered damage.  Sometimes, several supplements may be necessary to complete repairs to the hidden damage.

Supplements must be approved by the Insurance company prior to completion.  We will negotiate the need for the additional satisfactory repairs to obtain the supplemental payment from the Insurance company.  After an agreement is reached, an additional check is issued.

If the insurance company does not issue a supplemental check within 30 days, the customer will be responsible for the payment.

Please note that we do not inflate our estimates in any fashion.  This is a punishable felony under the law.  DEDUCTIBLES are not negotiable.  So please-----don’t ask.
